iOS 5.0.1 didn't fix battery drain bug .

Apple said that the released the update to fix the battery issue but a lot of iPhone users are unhappy with the update because the problem is still faced by the people . There are many comments on Apple iPhone Forum .
Some of the comments are given below

"my phone was almost fully chaged last night whenI went to bed and completely dead this morning.  3Gs which had fine battery life until iOS 5 and the most recent update which made it worse.  Guess I'll start turning stuff off and see if the phone is still useful.  I was going to update in a moth to the new 4, but now i'm thinking android."

"I'm glad I'm not the only person experiencing this problem. At first I thought it was my phone and battery, but it seems to be iOS 5 itself causing the problem. Hopefully Apple comes out with a fix soon because this is ridiculous! I almost restored my phone to new to see if that helped but seeing as how a lot of people are apparently experiencing this problem, it doesn't look like that would've helped. Thanks for sharing, really. Now I know I'm not alone and can save myself an hour and a half trip to my nearest Apple store for them to tell me my battery and phone are fine."

"After upgrading to 5.0.1 I realized that even with the iphone locked without using it under the usage icon the clock is still ticking. Fully charged the phone at midnight and at morning my usage is 2h+ even when im sleeping.... Please fix with a problem free update"

"Me, too. iPad 2 and iPhone 4 both fine until 5.0.1. Incidentally, I charged my iPhone less than 3 hrs ago and it's down to 50% battery. I haven't used it once in that 3 hours. That makes about 6 hours standby, when it's advertised as 300 hours. Charged the iPad around the same time. It's now down to 15% with very light use. Never had cause to be irritated with my iOS investment until now. I'm on the road a lot for business - it's just not practical to keep recharging both devices. Hope a fix comes soon, it's really a poor update, unusually."
